The East Sussex Arrows begin the 2025/26 campaign as they travel our neighbours to the east in Ashford, Kent. The match is to be played Sunday 21st September 2025.
Housekeeping and travel info
The location for this match will be Ashford IBC, Victoria Park, Jemmett Rd, Ashford TN23 4QD.
The venue has a limited amount of parking so please car share as much as possible, food will be available to pre-order on the day, players are asked if they are playing in the first session to order their food for 11.30 ,and players in the second session to order for 12.30.
Cost of the day will be £5 payable to the team manager, Edward Law, on the day.
Dress code is county shirt and black trousers for male players or black skirt, crops or trousers for the female players. NO JEANS or CARGO TROUSERS as per current ESMBA regulations. Shorts are now allowed to be worn.

The first game of the season took place on Sunday 21st September at Ashford ICB. Strong performances in the pairs and fours saw East Sussex take 18 of the available points with the triples gaining 2 valuable wins. The singles came up against strong counterparts from Kent and despite best efforts were unable to get any points. Bonus points were shared 4-4 meaning the result came down to individual performances.
Sue Hennock made her debut for the Arrows, with several other players returning to the squad.
Team manager Edward Law expressed his thanks and gratitude to the team after the game, congratulating a solid start to the season. Our next match is another away trip to Wye Valley to take on the Surrey Sharks. Team new will be sent out during the next week.
